Cool Pointing a domain name at a sub-domain folder

I have two domain names both pointing at ns18 vodahost.com and ns19 vodahost.com my main domain name http://www.tjtmedia.com that points to my test index page under the public_html folder.that works fine. Then I went into cpanel and under add sub-domains I created a sub- domain http://www.nationalrealtyresource.com. I uploaded that website to the nationalrealtyresource folder that was created when I created the sub-domain . When I go to http://www.natoinalrealtyresource.com it goes to the test index page in the public_html folder not the index page in the nationalrealtyresource folder. why is this?

You want to add that domain as an ADD-ON domain - as you want it to stand alone, not be simply a sub to the main domain.

And, when you have added it as an add-on domain - you then want to make sure when you publish the index page to national realty resource that you publish to public_html/nationalrealtyresource.

Cool Re: Pointing a domain name at a sub-domain folder

I did it that way and it still goes to public_html/index.html not public_html/nationalrealtyresource/ index.html. I can access it if I type http://www.nationalrealtyresource.co...ealtyresource/ into my browser. what could I be doing wrong?

    http://www.nationalrealtyresource.tjtmedia.com/

There is the url to what you added as a subdomain.
That is the way in which the address to your subdomain is written.

If you have purchased the domain name nationalrealtyresource then instead, like Bethers says, you would add this as an
ADDON Domain, not a sub-domain and would be found by http://www.nationalrealtyresource.com

And if you did not purchase this domain, you would then add it as a subdomain and the url is as above.
