Thread: publishing my second site

Hi Katt here
First site is scrollartbybruce.com...my second site is kattsconnections.com. I created a folder and put the files to the first site in. Then created a kattsconnections file and labeled my home page index. Now when I tried to publish the home/index page for kattsconnections it comes up as the home page to scrollartbybruce.
In the publish box I am putting public_html/kattsconnections. Please tell me what I am doing wrong. I have already added my sites to adon domains.

Have you updated your DNS?

ok you lost me..how do I update my dns?
My original sites were bought at GoDaddy and I have them pointed to Voda with the DNS addresses provided in my first email.
Thanks for the speedy help here. I also plan on transfering as soon as they are over the required 60days.

Looks as though you do indeed have your add on domain pointed to voda servers. Try removing the add on domain from your control panel and readding it .. then try republishing your index page again to public_html/kattsconnections like you have been doing ... If this issue doesn't resolve itself submit a support ticket and ask support to take a look at this for you ...

I submitted a support ticket but haven't heard anything back all day...but I went in and watch the tutorial on addons again for the hundreth time and then I went in to check the ftp manager and sure enough kattsconnection is not listed...I have removed and added twice..what else can I do while I wait on support?
Talking it out helps...thank you guys for the forum and all your support.

Actually, the best place to check your files are in your control panel. If you log in, go into FILE MANAGER, then go into the public_html file (directory) - this is where you should see the file folder for this add on domain. You may not see this in your ftp manager.

So have a look there while you are waiting too ..
