Thread: A Record - CNAME Record - MX Records

Hi, good morning to all. My question of today je je je...

I have a domain registered at other place. In the name of servers i've written the next:

Primary ............... ns3.vodahost.com
Secondary .......... ns4.vodahost.com

(It didn't asked me for IP)

Ok, but there are other fields that I don't know what to do with them :S and are the next ones:

Type: .......................... Source: .................... Destination:
A Record ...................... mydomain.net ............ Registar IP Address
A Record ...................... www.mydomain.net .... Registar IP Address
CNAME Record .............. *.mydomain.net ......... Registar Hostname
CNAME Recordmail ........ .mydomain.net ........... Registar Hostname

And also:

Mail Server Host Name: ..... Priority:
Registar Mail Server .......... 20
Registar Mail Server .......... 30

Can you tell me how do i have to edit them please?

Hi, actually i've read al the questions and answers on the faq, all the threads in the forum related to MX, CName, ARecord, etc. and also the video tutorials, but they only tell the way to edit the name servers, anything more.

If I lost the part i'm looking for, I'll be very grateful to the one that tell me where that information is.

Hi *****, my domain is movilclub.net . Since yesterday i'ts pointing to my vodaserver, and also i can send and receive emails.

However, in the control panel of the registar still appear the ARecords, CNAME Records, and Mail Server records pointing to them. Also i didn't find a place to put the two IP Address of vodahost (just the name servers). So I don't know if it's ok with just that information I put, or maybe could cause me some sort of problem in the future because i didn't configure all the fields correctly.
