Thread: new domain transfer?

I already have a website that is working really well. This is what I am wondering....my husband is in a band and they want me to design a website for them and keep it updated all the time. I guess they already have a domain name held for them. I am wondering if I could get that domain name transfered over to my account even though it is not registered under my name.
Any help or advice would be appreciated

The person who is listed as the admin contact will receive a transfer confirmation email...He/She must agree to this email for the transfer to take place....If you can manage this...you will not have an issue.

What is the next step after he or she has signed the transfer confirmation and the domain name has been transferred to the new registrar?

What does the person has to do to activate the new add on domains in cPanel before a person can publish to their new add on domains.

I had requested VodaHost to transfer 3 domain names as add on domains to my hosting account and I am not sure what is the next step after the
transfer has been done to Voda Domains?

Am I suppose to set up the new domains and Ftp accounts myself in cPanel or what? How do I know when I can publish to the new domains?
