Cool NEW Domain name transfer issue

Hi Folks,
I purchased a domain name a couple of weeks ago (Netfirms) I would like to transfer it to Vodahost where I am building my website, www.julesgalexander.com

Must I wait 60 days?

Thanks much

Jules

im not sure about the 60 days, but you can forward the name to your blue voda site. just contact your registrar and he will help you with that.

Or, Jules, you can just have it 'pointed' it at VodaHost. It doesn't have to be moved. Your current registrar can help you with that as well. I seem to remember you do have to wait 60 days but someone else may come along and give you the final word on that.

Thanks folks,

Actualli I don't want it to point to my bluevoda site, it's for another site. If I do have to wait that long, I will!

Thanks again.

It doesn't matter what site it's for - if you are going to host the site with VH -you don't need to move the domain here - as stated, you simply can point the nameservers here and build the new site.

Hi,

I just did a transfer for 3 domain to VH.

You will have to wait for the mandatory 60 days to lapse.

Meanwhile from your current registrar's cPanel you can point
your domain to any host hosting your account.
