CarbonTerry Thanks for your help!

I tried the tutorial you mentioned....but still not working.

Maybe I am not being so clear as to waht I need.

I have a website e.g. www.site1.com

I also own a domain name www.site2.com

When a user goes to www.site2.com I want them to see www.site1.com

How do I accomplish this?

Again Thanks

Place the following HTML redirect code Between the Head tags of your HTML code.

<meta HTTP-EQUIV="REFRESH" content="0; url=http://www.yourdomain.com/index.html">
The text in red should be the URL of the new website to want to go to.

Make a new page named " index " (no quotes) insert the code in the Between Head Tag
To get there, right click on the page, select Page HTML, a window will open, click on the Between Head Tag, insert/paste the code.
Publish the page to site 2.

Log in to your Modern Bill/VBS interface (it's in your welcome email)
My Sites
My Domains
Click on the domain name
Change DNS (From menu)
Select/click "Use the Following Name-Servers"
Enter the 2 domain name servers assigned to you in your welcome email
Submit Changes
I have no option for IP address.

Hi, sorry I did give my question clear.

I have another domain hosted in Australia. Now I want to host it under my VodaHost.
I login to my current domain server, changed host name to VodaHost. Do I need to change the IP address to my VodaHost IP address ?

As I changed host name almost 3 days ago, the status is still "Pending". Should I change the current IP to my VodaHost IP addrss?

Thanks,

eAusway

I'm sorry. i thought you were speaking of VodaHost. All you "should" have to change is the 2 server names.
If there is an option to change the IP address then try that.
Of course, I'm not sure how that host works.
Have you published the new site to your public_html/newsite (no http, no www, no .com or another extension) folder?
Have you added your addon domain thru your control panel?

Hi Carbon,

Thanks.
I changed 2 host name only. didn't chage the IP. It's a webpage hosted somewhere else. After I change host name, the webpage still works. and the domain status is still "Pending", I think it hasn't been changed successfully. May be need to change the IP to VodaHost as well.
Before I do this, I want to know by changing the old IP to my Vodahost IP address will it do any harm to my current webpage hosted in VodaHost? Because both domain will use same Vodahost IP address then, will be any confilict? (by the way, I have added addon domain under my VodaHost Cpanel, but havn't uploaded anything yet.)

There will be no conflict. However, the domain that you are pointing to VH will not be viewable until you publish. Make sure that you save a back up of all of your files from the old server as those files will cease to exist.
You will have to publish to your public_html/addon#1 (whatever you designate) and the newest addon to public_html/addon#2

Hi CarbonTerry,

Thanks a lot! It works now!

May I have a different question?
I visited your webpage, very impressive!
On my contact page http://www.wetsuitaustralia.com/Contactus.html
I would like to have a small gestbook like yours. (http://www.zone5pix.com/contactus.html)
Don't know how to make it, and how to hide the text message typed by customer ?

Thanks! eAusway
