Thread: Making an add on Domain.....

I would like to make an add on Domain to my account....with a vodahost account is it only the first Domain name that is free?
If I buy a second Domain name with the initial cost of $19.95 per year does it also have no monthly fees?
If this is all written somewhere can someone point me in that direction please.
My site is rosnasharnfarm.com and I want to add a website for our Goat Club...they werent happy with just pages linked to mine doh!! so I need

Hi Sharon,

You already have a hosting account and therefore you only have to buy and additional one domain name which will cost you $19.95 per year.
There are no other fees.

Goto VodaDomains and purchase your domain name, pay for it and once you are informed it is registered you can add your new domain by going to cPanel>Addon domain and follow the instructions to set it up.

On the top toolbar select "Order now"

I believe you also have to go into VodaHost Billing Service, (VBS), select the addon domain, then select "change DNS'.

Still waiting for the "welcome email" moneys out of my account and the domain name is in my vbs but when I click on the name (as per instructions) it says an error has occurred...so I presume not all details have been finalized. You know I will have more questions after.... :)

Ok I have added the new domain name in my cpanel....I am wondering now how this will appear in my BV when I publish...without publishing to my first sites url?? Is there a turorial aywhere....have you written one Dave :)?

When you publish the add on. In the publishing box in bv it say folder public _html so this what you would do. public_html/addondomain.com when you publish the first domain do not forget to take off the /addondomain.
