Thread: need to update my Vodahost DNS

i used to run my hosting for my site www.washingtonvillage.org off another of my site's vodahost hosting. I have since bought seperate hosting for washington village and this is the main site stated in the control panel, however i can't seem to upload to it.

i have uploaded from bluevoda with all the correct settings and i get the 'successfully published' message, but when i go to the site it doesn't have appeared to have uploaded.

i'm wondering if the DNS servers for the domain name are still set for the previous hosting, i cannot find anywhere on my control panel to update my domain name DNS servers. i bought the name through vodahost.

Does anyone have any ideas?

You can check this ...

In your new hosting account log in information, you can see your servers for that account and at the bottom you can see your vbs billing .. log in there and check this domain and see if the server names are set correctly. This is where you can change these servers.

You can also check your servers by going to who is ..

I see your servers are set .. have you published an index page?

yes i've published the index page, but as you can see nothing is coming up. i don't have any problem with my other site which is www.sicook.net but since i moved this site over i've not been able to upload anything....

those servers you see are wrong, they should be:

ns1.voda27.com
ns2.voda27.com

i can't work out how to change this in my control panel

i've managed to update my DNS servers on the VBS billing thanks, but i'm not sure how to ensure that the IP address for each to 67.228.185.168 and 67.228.185.169 respectively.

any more ideas?!
