I have a main website published (www.pkksystems.com), & several add ons. I wanted to totally redo one of these add ons (which I had already previously published) (www.krcdirect.co.uk), & so removed the krcdirect folder from the public_html file in the ftp manager. (a mistake!?) I then created a new index file, & tried to publish this to public_html/krcdirect, but got a message saying this folder did not exist. I then created a new folder called krcdirect in the public_html file using the ftp manager, and it said "successfully published". But, when I went to the web page (www.krcdirect.co.uk) it came up with an HTTP 404 error message, & no website! Any idea why, & how to fix it? Thanks, Val |

Delete the directory/folder that you created with your BV FTP program. Then Go to your Cpanel and set up the addon domainname again. (krcdirect.co.uk) If its still there, remove it and add it again, this will then create the correct folder in your root directory................ Publish your idex page to public_html/krcdirect.co.uk |
