This may sound stupid, but i hate spending money when i'm not 100% sure of the results.By creating a new domain name does that mean I lose all the files? Example: will olddomainname.com/photos/whateverhere.html be changed to newdomainname.com/photos/whateverhere.html automatically or do i have to change it manually?

No.. If you want to do an add on domain on your account you go to cpanel to create it using the addon icon. This makes a NEW folder on your account and then you publish your files to that folder. When you point the domain name it will work perfectly. Karen

Ok.. Lets clarify what it is that you are doing? Transfer WHAT files where? Transferring FROM where? Karen

No you will not lose the files. Yes you can transfer the files but all the existing links will have to be changed to the new name. |
