Thread: Domain v. New Site Questions

Hi - been a while since I have been around and I have a question.

I want to do a new/different site that will be a blog (using Wordpress). I do not want it to be my current site name (www.sheilasbakeshoppe.com). It will be something completely different. Do I create www.newname.com with Voda Host? Do I create the domain (per the tutorials)? Will the new site be called www.sheilasbakeshoppe.com/newname? That is not what I am after.

Please tell me I am making just a bit of sense!

Purchase your new domain name and then add it in your Cpanel as an addon domain.

This will then be a standalone website/blog with the new name and be controlled in your existing account.

Promise you won't get frustrated... I can purchase the domain name through Voda? or some other place like *******?

You can purchase it through Voda or anywhere you'd like - if you purchase it elsewhere - then you need to point the nameservers to Voda.
