Thread: domain names

Hi, ive got myself a domain name but yet wheni go on preview to look at my home website and sub-pages i cant look at my sub-pages how do i link them together and ive done it the way the tutorials have said but it still doesnt work.

Page have to be published before any links will work.............

Hi Confused Lady75,

If you buy a hosting account with VodaHost you do not need to buy a domain name. You will be getting one domain name registration for the first year free.

Would someone help me plz.
I have not started yet but I am trying to build a website for my home cleaning business and wondering, since I am just learning, not to sound stupid....but exactly what is a "domain name" and what is it used for? What is the difference between that and a url? MUST they be purchased? Thank you in advance for your help....Susan

If you have the url http://yoursite.com

the blue text is your domain name, you need to purchase a domain from somewhere, it doesn't have to be here, it can be with any company.
