Thread: .com vs .net

I am trying to think of a domain name for my site but I don't know if there's any difference between using .com or .net or any of the other options...

First choice for most people is .com
and to protect any future use of the name you choose, its sometimes a good idea to purchase other endings with the same name and park them.

Go for .com as this is ingrained in most peoples mind..................

The .com extension is the most widely known. I can not remember ever seeing a TV commercial that referred you to a "Company name.net". Try to figure a name with .com.

There is a net.com but there is no com.net.
