It means you can have as many domain names and websites attributed to your one hosting account as you wish, as long as you own them (not reselling them to others or hosting for others on your account).

Also, I have something like
http://www.mywebsiteworkout.com/personal-finances/
If I understand you correctly, that means instead of the above, I can name it http://www.personal-finances.com
Would that be OK?

You could do that... but you would still have to purchase the domain name.
