Thread: Add on domain

I have recently got an add on domain from Vodahost and as far as I can see I have set it up correctly but the only way I can see the index page is to put my main domain name first (www.awdition.com/saturdaysquares.com)
Does it take while to register or is this the only way the site can be accessed?

how recent is recent? It should be 24 hours or less if you are publishing correctly and its set up correctly.

I set it up about 18 hours ago so I might be a bit hasty :o) but just wanted to know if putting my main domain first is the only way to see it on the net?

Hi,

What you have shown is an url for a subdomain.

It should show as www.saturdaysquares.com/

Delete the sub domain and reset you new domain again as an addon domain from your "cpanel >addon domain".

I tried to delete the sub domain but I couldn't because it was connected to the add on domain saturdaysquares.com
I deleted the add on domain and started all over again.....same problem
I checked and it has automatically added the sub domain again as well as the add on domain.
If I enter www.saturdaysquares.com I get the vodahost home page.

Working fine at my end. Get what looks like a news paper heading with this as one of the images

Just tried with IE and there it was!!......but with FF I still get the Vodahost page???
Must be something to do with my browser.
