Thread: Add on domain names

Hey... ok i'm waiting for 4 domain name transfers to complete...
can i do a add on before thats done?

and i've gone to the add on page in the CP but dont understand what should go in these boxes
Subdomain/Ftp Username:
Document Root:

the domain names i'm wanting to add are
lifepartners.org
lifepartnerschristianministries.net
lifepartnerschristianministries.org
lpcm.net

ok wait... now i have a problem...
2 of the DN's have more then 25 characters... and the Subdomain/Ftp Username no likey
what do i do?

I have bought a domain name since January, BUT I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO BUILD A WEBSITE. I WANT TO SELL E BOOK ON NET AS WELL AS REPRESENT EXPORTERS WHO HAVE CUSTOMERS IN NIGERIA, THAT IS WHY I HAVE CHOSEN THE NAME CASE OF NEED I THINK I HAVE WASTED TIME BECAUSE OF MY PROCRASTINATION.
MY COMPANY LESAM GLOBAL CONCEPT ALREADY HAS A WEBSITE, BUT IT IS A CONSULTING OUTFIT.
CAN I LINK THE CASE OF NEED DOMAIN NAME WITH LESAM?
SHOULD I BUILD A NEW WEBSITE THROUGH THIS LEARNING PROCESS?
OR SHOULD I JUST BUY THE WEBSITE FROM YOU?
THE DOMAIN NAME WAS BOUGHT FROM *******
I AM CONFUSED

no one can understand?... um ok well you all know the add a domain page in the CP?
when i type in the DN to add on, 2 of the 4 worked fine. When i typed in the 3rd... lifepartnerschristianministries.net it accepted the DN but said that it was too long for the Subdomain/Ftp Username.
and i dont know what to do... it defaults to using the DN for the Subdomain/Ftp Username... can it be changed to anything to make it fit?

Hi Yusuph,

Do you have a hosting account with VodaHost?
If you do not have a hosting account with VodaHost
then we cannot help you.

BlueVoda works only with a VodaHost hosting account.
Your new domain name also need a hosting account before you can use it.

Yes ... just remove the last part of your domain - this folder doesn't need to be exact as the domain name you are adding ..
