Cool using sub domains

Can anyone put this in plain english for me please.
My web is www.localwebmaker.com which i currently have a friends web site on which i am desiging.
I have set up a sub domain called frc (short for finlakeridingcentre).
what does the url look like is it www.localwebmaker.com/frc/index
for the home page then www.localwebmaker.com/frc/contactus.html and so on.
tried the tutorials can't find anything at all to clarify this

I presume my master site url would be www.localwebmaker.com then www.localwebmaker.com/contactus.html etc and the 2 sites will run side by side but not interfere with each other.

Lastly when i create and save a page what do we save it in i presume i will have to set up another folder marked frc then save the created pages to that folder ending .bvp and publish them individually

Confused not half as much as me

Would appreciate all the help out there in plain english so i can get my head round it.

Default Re: using sub domains

1. Set your sub domain up in cpanel.
2. Publish your new index page & all other files to public_html/frc/
3. Your link to the home page will be http://www.frc.localwebmaker.com/
4. Your link to the contact page will be http://www.frc.localwebmaker.com/contactus.html or possibly .php .
