How do I know when my domain name becomes available?

Hi, I just signed up, and it said on the receipt that it'll take 24-72 hours till the domain name is available. How do I know when it's ready? Do I get an email?

Then, when it's ready, do I just press the 'publish' button, and then off it goes?

Also, I was sent two receipts. How come? Do I need to worry about double billing?

Sorry, a mishmash of Q's there! Thanks in advance for the answers!

Please udintify your self with client id number and domain name so we can check about double billing

My full name is Karen Erickson (though it was to be billed to my brother, whom I'm doing this for). The domain name is beyondcanvas.com. I don't know what my ID number is, or how to find it.

If the credit card was on your brother's name and the billing was to be on his name, please provide his name also.
