Thread: Domain help......

I am really new to all of this and learning as I go, but I need some direction. I already have an account set-up with Vodahost and uploaded my site to the public_html folder. I have a registered domain through bravenet that I want to use. How do I make that happen exactly?

I did go to this site www.vodahostdomains.com and created an account according to the email that I had gotten that talked about domains. What are my next steps after creating the account?

What exactly is the difference with transfering the domain or keeping it with my current registrar?

My current registrar would be Bravenet.. correct?

If by staying with my current registrar, I would need to change the server that they (Bravenet) has preset to the Vodahost DNS in order for my site to work?

Contact the nice people over at Bravenet and tell them that you would like them
to change your name servers to...

ns1.vodahost.com
ns2.vodahost.com

does this work on all accounts
I have two homestead accounts that i want to change over to Voda

I don't know how nice the people are at Homestead, But where ever your domain
name is registered you have to change your name servers to.....

ns1.vodahost.com
ns2.vodahost.com

In order for it to work on our servers. This is not an option.
