Google Webmaster Tools Crawl Errors "DNS lookup timeout"

I have added my site www.pittsburghparanormal.com to my Google Webmaster Tools account so it will eventually get listed in Google searches. Every time Google tries to initiate a crawl of the site I get a "DNS lookup timeout" error.

Now I know for a fact that Vodahost does not use a "standard" setup as far as DNS records and pointers go. For example an nslookup of www.pittsburghparanormal.com against DNS resolvers such as 4.2.2.2 and 4.2.2.1 give the IP address of 67.228.244.194. If I open up a browser and type in http://67.228.244.194 the URL bar then fills itself in with http://67.228.244.194/cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi and I get a message at the top of the page saying:

"Great Success !
Apache is working on your cPanel® and WHM Server"

With that said I know that is why I an getting these Google Webmaster Tools Crawler Errors since it is doing a lookup of the site and not finding the code or meta tags that I have put in place.

Can ANYTHING be done to either add a permanent A record that goes directly to the site (as I normally would create in my own forward facing DNS servers with ALL of the websites at my place of business) or at least mimic that process so the Google Crawler can find my page when it does a DNS lookup?

I am sure somebody hosting their site with Vodahost has had this same issue so any pointers or help with this matter would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

So here is something else I that seems a "bit" odd.....

Using Google Webmaster Tools I crawled 3 different pages on my site as a Googlebot. I get the EXACT same results for each page even though they are completely different pages:

You are in a shared hosting environment, so you should be typing

http://67.228.144.194/~username where username is your own username.

Nope, no dice on that..... Tried typing in what you suggested and it does not work..... Thanx for the suggestion.

I think I just need to move to another hosting company that has more "standard" features and no shared resources.....

When I cannot type in an IP address and get RIGHT to the site that does not work for me. Been doing this for years and some of the things I have seen and had to do here to get things to work just blow my mind. Pair that up with NEVER being able to get someone on the phone and it taking 24 hours to resolve help tickets. Paying an extra few bucks a month to get those features will be WELL worth it......

You can't simply type your IP address and enter your site, because you are on a shared hosting plan. Unless you get yourself a dedicated IP address.

Why should Google crawl by IP address and not by domain name ?
Google Crawlers work for everyone, but not for you? Then you should be worried about what your settings are in your Google webmster Account.
