Thread: help with subdomains

I need to know does a subdomain work basically the same as a basic domain url. I presently have 2 websites and want to combine them someway so as it be easier to maintain, because i am dissabled, on oxygen, and this stuff is really hard for me. Is the subdomain accessed like just a plain url would be, or what would you advise.

Please do not confuse a subdomain with a addon domain. A sub domain is
a an extension of your main domain name like the one below...

www.help.vodahost.com

an addon domain is a entirely new domain name that is attached to your
account.

so if vodahost.com is your master domain and you purchase the below

abc.com
xyz .com

they are considered addon domains.

If I purchase another domain from Vodahost, will just domain cost be added to my account and the domain be ran within the 5000 gig I already have or do i have to get same stuff again. Am still confused.

For example: If you domain name is http://www.info.com, you can create the page http://www.steven.info.com for free using vodahost's capabilities (as long as you are the owner of info.com).


If you want to get a totally domain name, such at http://www.material.com, you have to pay the $19.95 fee or however much it costs to get an additional domain name. You do not have to create another VodaHost account. You can run both websites on the account that you already are paying $7.95 a month for.

The only bad thing is you are only getting 5000mb space and 300gb bandwidth for each account. So if you had maybe 10 domains on one account, your space could become low (keyword "could").

5000mb and 300gb bandwidth should be plenty to run 3-4 websites, if not more. I wouldn't worry about the space issue.

My Hosting is idle from last 2 months. I have a master domain Norva.DE and i have registered it with some other domain provider. Now i want to delete this domain and Add a New Master Domain. i have already registered the domain through my local agent. I have set the names servers..
NS3.VODAHOST.COM
NS4.VODAHOST.COM

Now please tell me how to add that domain in my VodaHost Hosting.
