Default extension question of "images not showing on website"

    Hi all,

Man, you talk about frustrated!! I sure hope David or Naveldesign are still checking us out!<g>

I was doing just great.....and all of a sudden, I am back to not being able to publish under my addon domain, unless I went through my original domain, same goes for links.

    To refresh what happens:

    addon domain........finding-info.com

    original domain.......quickloadbooks.com

I was only able to publish by going...quickloadbooks.com/finding-info

We solved the problem by adding website with hotlinks protection.

Well, I am still protected same way, but all of a sudden everything is back to where I was in the first place.

I was able to continue to publish under finding-info.com by using a WYSIWYG editor. I can still do that if I want to change a page that is already published.

Then I solved it by going to Cpanel and downloading file to finding-info.

Now if I do that, or if I try to publish a new page through the other editor, I am again having to go through quickloadbooks.com.

I am really hoping you guys can help me once again.

    Thanks so much,

    Ina

There is nothing wrong with publishing going through your main domain. It is the safest way. You just publish to the "public_html/finding-info" folder, using your main domain password and username.
If you want to publish directly in your finding-info folder, you must create an FTP account with a specific username and password for the finding-info folder. In this case, you use (in BV) the new username and password, and leavr the "folder" field empty. It will by default take you to the "finding-info" folder
