Thread: Launch Help

My site is ready to launch!
Ranked at no 9 on google out of about 2 million (searching "Panzoom") and no 1 out of 58 (searching "Panzoomproperties). This is flattering, though, as not many people would search these when looking for property!
Busy formulating a marketing strategy and need some help.
The site will be utilised primarily by estate agents who can use it to show prospective buyers videos of property for sale in the area they are interested in. The agents pay a subscription fee.
First thought of doing e-mail marketing but after doing some reading on the forum don't want to be labelled as a spammer.
Next step would be to advertise in our local property supplement and phone agents to set up a demo.
As an introductory offer been toying with the idea of waiving the subscription on the first ten clients or giving a big discount so as to get a working site before marketing it further.
Any suggestions or advice will be greatly appreciated!

Email marketing is a very sound marketing tool... just make sure you are using a list that you have built yourself.. it won't be considered spamming.
If you know of others in the business maybe they would mention in their upcoming newsletters that you are open for business on the web.
Other free marketing ideas....
Press Releases - create a press release - do a search on free press release sites and post it! Other sites pick up press releases if they deem the content interesting and over time these will bring you free traffic!
Articles - write an article on what you know (real estate, finding the right property, etc.) and post it to free article sites. Again.. this brings you free traffic and other article sites might pick up your articles to post on their sites.

Hi Dori, I am in the process of creating market awareness through newspaper advertising and will build the list in time. I have quite a couple of leads I will be following beginning of Jan 2007. I have put together a lengthy document on sales and sales techniques, and will be creating brochures and letters (which I can also use in article marketing) using the AIDA (attention, Interest, Decision, Action) principle to send to agents and individuals.
Thanks a million for your help, I will definitely incorporate it into my marketing strategy.
