Default Putting affilate banner on my website

I am going to be building sites for others through bluevoda and need an affilate banner for the my website. I have signed up for this a while back. I put in my log in details and I am a bit stuck as to which I chose. I need a banner that helps them sign up for an account which is affilated to me.

Could any point me in the right direction

    http://www.vodahost.com/partner/account.php?page=4

This is the page I am on to save any confusion, whats the next step, which do I chose.

    Regards Paul

    Hi Paul,
If you have signed up for BV Affiliate and are signed on ANY banner you choose will be automatically attached to you. Take your pick! When someone is on your website and clicks the BV banner on your site BV will know that it was your site the customer came through. Modern technology.... isn't it a wonderful thing?

    Hi,
Also, don’t forget to put a link in your emails for anyone to click on. As Dori said, all of the links that you get from your BV affiliates area, relates to you via a code at the end of every link. IE: .php?id=1234 . This number is unique to you & is how you are tracked for the thousands of dollars VH will be giving you. lol

    HaHa Chris.

Sorry but it is not working, am I missing something here? I copied and pasted this into a text box

    <a href="<A href="http://www.vodahost.com/partner/idevaffiliate.php?id=3371_0_1_7"><img">http://www.vodahost.com/partner/idevaffiliate.php?id=3371_0_1_7"><img src="http://www.vodahost.com/partner/banners/q3.gif" border="0"></a>

Right clicked in the text box, inserted in html and nothing is happening? Put html in before this way without a problem, any ideas what I am doing wrong?

You have to copy and paste that into a HTML box - top left on the screen - same as you would paypal buttons etc. Make the box the same size as the banner.

Text box???? Are you putting the html box on the page & double clicking on it to open the properties box. Then entering this bit of code into the pop up window that appears.?

You best not be putting the h1 into a text box - you have to put html in the html box! Chris just explained.

And if you don't get an email from me tonight or in the morning - bear with me - my internet connection has been non-existent for over 5 hours - getting close to bedtime - and the weather is getting worse.

    But I won't forget you :)

That is exactly what I am doing and trust me nothing is happening.

The box you are talking about pops up with custom html, html properties. I paste the code in there and press o.k

Preview and nothing at all happens.

    Yep! thats the one.
Hi, I just tried cutting & pasting the link above into my BV html & it works perfectly.
You are using the one I posted?
The only other thing that you could do is on some of your other pages you have Pay pal buttons. Try copying the code out of one of these boxes & placing it in your new html box just to see if it’s working. If that’s ok I am not sure what to suggest.

The paypal button comes up fine, the banner, not a sniff of it. I even pasted a line into it with the html and the line appeared but that was it, which shows it is in there, but no banner whatsoever, this is becoming very frustrating.

I tried the most simple code

    http://www.vodahost.com/partner/idev...te.php?id=3371

All I got was this repeated as above, at least there was something there, but did not convert from html.

    Paul,
I just emailed you a BV page with the banner with your code in it - in an html box - copy and paste this onto your page and see if it works.

Keep the box the size it is.

Thank you Beth but no nothing at all. I do get the message allow pop ups, which I click on yes, but nothing is showing at all. I have tried and tried.

I have put a support ticket in but no reply as yet, not sure where to turn as I need to add this.

Paul, I don't know why you'd be getting a message about pop-ups - as this has nothing to do with popups.

Did you get what I emailed you? And you copied and pasted the entire html box onto the page? Can you email me the page and I'll look at it?

I did everything you said. Like I say I can get a text link in and everything is fine, so I must be doing things right, it is just the banners that are not showing. I have tried every which way and nothing.

I emailed you - please send me a page with the banner code you're using via email - let me see if I can diagnose the problem.
