Default Money transfers to South Africa enquiry.

Hi, has anyone had any experience with transferring money to South Africa to pay for goods that will eventually be shipped to the UK. I believe Pay Pal is not an option for this area of the world.
Any suggestions on good ways to do this would be appreciated.

Many thanks.

Hi, Vasili, thanks for the idea's. Had a look at your suggestions & it seems that the recipients have to join the service to receive the funds. I was hoping to just join a service & deposit some money with them & transfer funds straight to the persons bank account i am dealing with in South Africa.
The problem with the UK banks is they charge an astronomical amount for international transfers. (Usual starts at a minimum of $60 to $70 plus bad rates of exchange.

Cheers.

Question Re: Money transfers to South Africa enquiry.

MoneyBookers charges less than 2% (less than most Card Processors!), and are UK based as well.

EVERY Recipient has to "register" to receive funds, and Moneybookers does not require recipients to pay any fees or anything else. Just like all "exchanges" (PayPal included), you need to register free to establish/provide identity and to track the transaction .....no getting 'round that.
