Traffic to my website

Could someone please have a look at my website and see if it works ok, and come someone please tell me why I have no sales. Thanks in advance.

You have no sales probably because there are 13 million similar websites all selling the same lingerie and all looking like your website. People think, let's set up an internet shop and live happily ever after watching tons and tons of money come in... the truth is probably 80% of ecommerce sites are lucky if they get 1 sale every two months, especially lingerie, jewellery etc. People who are sucessful with this tend to be those with plenty of money behind them for marketing etc or companies who have a chain of stores to go with their internet site and are a household name.

Just a reality check.

Thanks for your honesty, i asked the question because around 400 people have looked at my site in the last month, i have spent weeks researching the competition and prices to which i thought was competetive, but once again thanks for your honesty.

p.s have you any tips, because i will not be beaten easily and will fight till the end!!!!!!

I have many websites, none of them sell any goods but make me a very good living. The reason I don't sell goods is because of what I said earlier.. I tried it, many many times until it knocked me on the head and gave me a wake up call... the www is too inundated with everyone trying to do the same. too many jewellery sites, too many lingerie sites... the people making the 'real ' money on the net are your social networking sites, your information websites, directories to name but a few.. but online stores... stay away seriously, uness you have something extremely unique to sell or your prices are so outstanding and you can reach enough people to let them know!

Thanks Ramsay I really appreciate your comments, i will keep it running but also think of another idea that can hopefully make me some money. Once again thanks for advice.

If you want, email me , I am in the UK too and have a directory that receives nearly 2000 visitors a day with a lingerie section in, happy to give you a free advert for your site. Your visits will increase so you never know you could get lucky.

I agree with Ramsey completely.

The bridal stores, jewelery and clothing stores are totally overdone. Women tend to make shopping an event and would rather go out with their friends to the local mall and try on the items.

The money is in graphic design, social networks, forums, directories, blogs, content writers and web flipping. Online arcades and games are also super hot.

Pick one or two and get into them before they become too saturated, because it's getting to that point.

Also if you don't mind Ramsey, I am interested in your directory.

Thanks again Ramsey, would it be possible for you to advise me on how to get my website indexed highly, i have searched and searched but would prefer real info from someone who knows what they are talking about!!!
