I have a few questions. I have a website Easysitespro.com that I use mainly for easy site builder programs. It mainly centers around Homestead websites. I'm thinking of centering around Blue Voda as I haven't had a good experience with Homestead's affiliate program. I found out various things after I had spent a lot of time etc...on it. So I have a few questions. I read that your cookies are good forever basically. I see there are different links for different pages such as to get the free Blue Voda download, promote the affiliate program, get the hosting etc.....(I'm also interested in getting links to your tutorials which I can put my affiliate id into) But does it work that if they use the link to get the Blue Voda download that after that if they go directly to the site on their own or from one of your emails, that I still am credited with the commission? Or if they look at the affiliate program info from my link and then get the hosting--do I still get the commission for the hosting? So that is one question--do they have to come in from my hosting link to get the hosting credit or can they come from any of the links that go to some part of your website? The other questions are to do with is there any stipulations like they have to get a yearly or 2 year package or does it matter if they end up getting the monthly hosting as far as if I get the $70. commission? What if Vodahost sends them a coupon by email or other email promotions, does that change anything as far is if I still get the commission? If they call customer service with a question and they sell them the hosting--do I lose the commission(if they came fro my link) For example Homestead has a 60 cookie but what they don't tell you is that if you get someone signed up for a 30 day free trial, they have to purchase within 30 days(there is no CC # taken)for you to get the commission. It has to be a yearly package and other various details it doesn't say on the site. I would just like to have all the data up front because I buy advertising and make demos and blogs, newsletters etc... Thanks |

If they have visited on your cookie and they buy you get the commission. I cant remember how long the cookie is verified. Put in a support ticket for sales and ask them. Voda as a rule doesnt EMAIL them. However, if they use a posted coupon for hosting.. you do NOT get the commission. Karen

Once you ID is indexed for any referral link, even if they come back to buy 2 years later, you will still get your commission from VodaAffiliate. You do not have to worry about VodaHost. It is a genuine Affliate program. I signed up long ago and I am happy with the result so far.

Thanks for your answers. I'm interested in your experiences with the affiliate program. When I say email--I mean autoresponder emails. They definitely send those out. I get them all the time. I just got one with a coupon for $30 off hosting. It's good that they send out emails. The affiliate program that i mentioned that I was in seemed to do no follow up at all and that does not help conversions. But you say if the prospect responds to a coupon and uses it, the affiliate doesn't get a commission? |

Yes. I was just mentioning the past one as a comparison. It's good that VodaHost does follow up emails or else there would be low sign ups. Just if a coupon is sent that negates the referral, it makes it a bit harder. But I also wondered which plan they had to sign up for so you would get the $70. commission or is it any plan? |

Only if the visitor visit your webpage directly from the internet [not from this forum] and decide to find out what is so free about BlueVoda by selecting the banner in your webpage. That is how you get your 70.
