i dont think this question is a hard one, but it needs to be asked as plainly as possible.

i have an excel sheet that i would like to use with my website - i am building it currently

basically i will create a form to give the spreadsheet the variables it requires. i would like to do this with drop-down menus.
i want the user to select the variables and then the variables give him an answer from the spreadsheet once he clicks submit.

a separate field will ask if he accepts the answer given, then when he says yes, i want the variables and answer to post in a searchable database - with appropriate emails sent to myself and the user, and registered users who have entered search options which match the variables and answer.

i am sure this is a simple fix, but it is beyond my knowledge.


also i should be clear that what i am trying to do is like a real estate site - the customer selects fields they desire and then recieve a list of matches.

but also the seller enters the specific information which the buyer may want, and the excel sheet calculates a suggested price. if he declines to accept the suggested price, he enters his own and submits. that submission is posted to the website for buyers to search and emails are sent to myself, the seller, and buyers interested in the same information.
