Well I don't know. This counters are more or less for guy like me with new site, to see how many and from where visitors are comming. At least at begining. And I didn't see Goggle or Yahoo or MSN or VH to have one. They have other ways to analyse traffic.

The counter I use which I scrounged from an old post by Dave (nz.stroke) yonks ago does not count repeat visits. I can go to my site 20 times and it only counts 1. So I guess that not all counters are 'lazy'. Thanks Dave.
