Thread: Receiving form data without using Outlook

Can I just get the data from my forms sent directly to my Squirel Mail account without Outlook getting in the way? Its been over 5 hours now and none of the forms data from my site www.dropinsurfshop.com get sent to my Squirel mail account. I keep getting error messages with Outlook. I have read all the threads and watched the toutorials but I cant get the data from my website forms sent to both Outlook and my Squirel mail account. I never use Outlook so I dont care to use it. What do you suggest?

One other thing. After a short period of time, the messages in my Squirel mail inbox just delete. Do you know the reason for this?

Hey Jonas-
Yes you can receive the data from your form without having to use outlook or some other default mail service. It is done using a php mailto script. Currently there are three very good ways to do this.

One- is to use the new Advanced Blue Voda Form processor that Navaldesign has prepared. You can find it here;

I recommend that you unzip it and print off the PDF copy of the instructions and follow along step by step.

Give it a try. It may look daunting at first- but you will have plenty of help here in the forms section if you get stuck.

I went through the steps in option 3 by David Alicia and i'm almost finished but my Bluevoda FTP doesn't include my Server IP 74.62.51.194. Is there an updated version of this i can download?
