Thread: Can't send e.mail, but can receive

I have just configured my email accounts to outlook 2000.

I receive emails, but cannot send them, I have check that everything is set up right numerous times. I have rang my ISP provider and checked that they don't block port 25 and they said it's not blocked, the problem is with vodahost, that vodahost server is stopping me sending email.

My emails that are set up in outlook are as follows:

contact@capturedeleganceonline.com
Rachel@capturedeleganceonline.com

Anyone got any ideas

Forgot to say my ISP is AT&T

You are very, very wrong. Your problem is not with VodaHost, your problem is on your end.

1) did you check to see if your IP is blacklisted? This mean AT&T gave you a dirty Ip Address.
2) What is your IP?

Your IP 69.221.221.1 is Black listed all over the place, click the below...

1) Apology accepted
2) Try switching your modem on and off, this should assign you a new IP address every time you do this. When you get a new one, run a check on it to make sure it is clean.
3) If the above does not work call AT&T and complain. demand they give you a clean IP.

Sorry i do apologise for the accusation, I'm just a bit fed up with it not working...

Thank you for your help. I had to unplug my moderm twice, but my mail is sending now. The check is still saying i have 4 blacklistings, am i always going to have some? even if i keep unplugging?

At least i now know what to do if it happens again...
