Default Do I need to use Outlook Express??

Hi Everyone

I am creating a subscription form but like everyone else I get error messages. I understand that if a persons Outlook express isn't configured right then it doesn't matter if I have the right code for my form it still won't get to me so is there any other way of setting up a form that doesn't use a persons outlook express for the subsription form to be sent to me??

Default I have the same problem!

I seem to have the same problem as you. I set up a form and test it via preview and it works perfectly. Yet when anyone else uses it it simply opens up their email client, and they have to type in the message again.

Have had numerous attempts to solve this, yet I still can't get it to work after months!

It is a real shame as the form looks good, but won't work!

If anyone knows how to crack this I would be extremely grateful.

Hi Sarah

I have followed those insturctions and gone through it with a fine comb but still I cannot get it to work. I have done evrything that it has instructed me too.
However you say in the instructions that I should have a page called www.example.com/contact.html and also another page called www.example.com/contact.php but in the instrctions it doesn't say to create a new page all it says is to change form properties and create a file in notepad. Can you clarify this please.

Regards

Chris

the meaning is the same....if your form is on a page called contact.html
the form code will go on a new page (created with notepad) called contact.php

OK so I have tried and tried to do this form following your instructions. This will be the 15th time and still cannot get it to work. I keep getting the following message:

The page cannot be displayed

The page you are looking for cannot be displayed because the address is incorrect. Please try the following:

HTTP 405 - Resource not allowed
Internet Explorer

For me personally the PHP code DOES NOT WORK. What else can do. It's important that I get this form done.

Regards

Chris

Happy new year from France
I followed the video tutorial to set up a form to collect emails ==> to build a list.
I am using outlook Express as contact email.
I published the page and tried. Name email adress and submit. Good!
The thank's page works.
Good!
But, yes there is a but..
but where went the email adress?...not in outllook express.
So the question is How to know for sure that my form work well and where is the email adress I just sended.
And thank you for this great GREAT SITE!
