Hi I have tried to get my outlook account to send through my voda host email address but it just won't work. I can receive my emails and can send through other emails. Any advice is appreciated.

J'espère qu'il y a quelqu'un qui parle français sur ce forum.
Je ne peux recevoir mon courrier dans mon Outlook et pourtant le tout est bien configurer.
Je ne reçois rien depuis ce matin à 5h pour une adresse
Et depuis hier avec une autre adresse.
Ce n'est pas la première fois que j'ai des problèmes de réception de message. Puis-je savoir le pourquoi?
Pourtant, je suis avec VodaHost depuis près de 2 ans.

Salut Martine,
i suggèrent que vous vérifiez encore vos cadres deOutlook. Beaucoup de fois, Windows automatique met à jour chenge quelques-uns des cadres dans Outlook..
Si ce n'est pas le cas, s'il vous plaît soumettez un billet du support.
Cela a été l'automaticaly traduit, ainsi excusez toutes erreurs.

J'ai vérifié les options de mon compte dans Outlook et même remis mon mot de passe et tout est OK de ce côté.
Quand je fais Outils/Envoyer/Recevoir - Envoyer et Recevoir tout
Outlook se connecte, l'autorisation est en cours et accepté mais malheureusement, tout mon courrier reste sur le serveur. Rien entre dans Outlook.
J'ai posté un billet support mais je n'ai pas de réponse.
J'aimerais bien envoyer des captures d'écran mais je ne sais pas si ce forum accepte les images et je ne sais pas comment faire pour en insérer.
Mes problèmes de messagerie ont commencé le 25 septembre. J'ai posté un billet support à ce moment là et je n'ai pas eu de réponse.
Le problème est revenu hier et je trouve cela malheureux.
Je n'avais jamais eu de problème avec VodaHost depuis mon achat d'hébergement. C'est seulement à la fin juin 2007 que les problèmes ont commencé. Je n'avais plus accès à mon cpanel. En septembre-octobre 2007, problèmes de réception de messages.

Ok, alors essayez de vérifier le checkbox "Incluez le compte dans la réception ou synchronisation de messages."
C'est dans le Compte, Propriétés, Général le checkbox inférieur

Par contre, quand je vais dans mon cpanel, j'ai un message d'erreur avec mon adresse :
The e-mail account graficomaniac@creationml.com was successfully modified. Invalid maildirsize file!Même chose avec une autre adresse.
Je possède 4 adresses emails et il y en a 2 sur 4 qui fonctionnent.
Je comprends vraiment plus rien.
Pourtant, je n'ai pas changé le Quota de mes comptes emails.

Usually this is a Outlook Express settings problem. Make sure that you have checked the "Server needs authentication" checkbox. Also check that your ISP doesn't block port 25

Yes i did all that i even called my internet provider and we tested the accounts and nothing is blocking.
In my cPanel my main account is xxxxxxxx@arosgate and the second one is webmaster@arosgate.
T o test the whole thing i send a mail from a hotmail account.
Lets say xxxxxx********.com.
I go in to Horde and in to my webmaster account and i can see the mail.
It says
From: webmaster@arosgate.com
To: webmaster@arosgate.com
Should it say like that or should it say
From: xxxxxx********.com
To: webmaster@arosgate.com
I really tryed it all and still it wont work. I just don`t know where or what to change anymoore so it will work.
Maybee the setting in my cPanel are wrong.Hmmm...so tired of this mail problem.
I want to join the affiliate program but i can`t couse i cant send that mail to support@voda.
Sending attachment plz tell me if the setting are wrong there?

Please make a simple test: send an email through your Horde. If you can send from Horde, then your account is correctly setup (which i don't have doubts about) so we can limit the search to your Outlook Express settings

Some isp's dont allow you to send mail straight to the internet without first authenticating thru their server, so you have to click advanced and sign on as, isp user and password, and change the outgoing mail to smtp.yourisp.com

Thank you all for the HELP. I found what was wrong with my e-mails.
My internet provider told me a LIE. And that 3 times.
I could not setup my email couse i was using Outlook 2003 and the F***** liening IP told me that ain`t a problem, you can use every e-mail client you wish. Now i am using Outlook Express.
No wonder i was angry and frustrated for 4 weeks now.
I missed so many important e-mails.

Hi, I've read the thread and I'm in SW France using Wanadoo / Orange - and I've checked the "server needs authentication" box . . . and still can't get an email to leave the outbox using Voda as my server. It works OK if I swap the server to that of my ISP. Any suggestions - it's driving me barking mad !
yes.. the outgoing email has to be your isp! It will still come from your domain, but the isp requires you to authenticate its you sending it!
Just smack your head on the desk again.. it will all become clear! :)
