Thread: Port 25

Hi there,

I haven't been able to send emails in the last 2 days. Don't know what happened. It was all good and never had this type of problem before. Comes up a message saying:" ...fail to conect to server. code 25 response -1 " .

Any ideas?

Are you on the same computer? Using the same type of internet connection? I only can't send on occasion when I'm on some strange wifi connections. Most work - but occasionally one doesn't.

What I just said won't matter if you're going in from the cp to horde.

I can send emails from my computer. Problem is other computers...but it's ok.

It's all started when I read something you wrote a while ago saying you like LA (link assistant). I've downloaded it and I'm using the 15-day trial version. Simple and good. I like it.
I just can't send emails using the LA. Have emailed them and after 10 emails (!) I told them that I'm about to give up They say that's something to do with my host stopping me to send emails. That's the code 25. Do you think it can be VH? I can send and receive emails...all good. Maybe LA doesn't work well with VH?

1) This is not a VodaHost issues...Please click the link in my above post you will see port 25 is an ISP issue. Maybe your ISP does does not like L.A.

2) FYI Recip links are a complete waste of time, one way link are the way to...recipe link cancel out each other.
