Thread: missing from control panel

Ok..ive set up my webmail/email so it goes through outlook express...it all works fine to and from there...

But, if i look at the outlook express first..it does not show up in my web mail in control panel...

but if i look at my web mail(control panel) first its both there and in the outlook express..

once i have opened up outlook express,it then deletes itself from control panel mail..no where to be found..

Is this normal..or am i missing somethink???

that's not the way mine works, horde .. but I'd prefer it your way, deleting so many emails page by page in webmail is not a quick task .. you're lucky ..

wow..ill leave it the way it is..seems to be working ok other than that..handy as you say though..lol

Check the options though, there appears to be some settings in here that perhaps you have ticked, I am looking now and maybe that is what has happened.

actually, the mail remains in your webmail until you connect with Outlook Express. When you do, it downloads the messages, and then it deletes them from your mailserver.

if you want the messages to remain in your webmail even after you have downloaded them with O.E., then go in your OE, Tools, accounts, select the account, Propertiies, Advanced, and chech the "keep a copy of the message on the server" checkbox.

Although, I might un-tick that box as i have to many emails now...lol

1 last thing,,,

that all works good,where emails goto to those addresses ive created(that box ticked),
but it also leaves a copy in the inbox folder and it appears as
"From" Mail Delivery System
"subject" Mail failure-no recipient addresses

i cant help wondering there is somethink else i missed...

maybe ill leave it..i fixed what i was looking for..
