Thread: Problems with Outlook 2000

I set up my email account on the CPanel FIRST, watched the tutorials for setting up Outlook email accounts and I keep getting the error message,

"A timeout occurred while communicating with the server.
(Account: 'mail.yourstylishoccasion.com,' SMTP Server: 'mail.yourstylishoccasion.com; Error Number: 0x800ccc19)."

I can't send or receive emails. I get this message after I open up Outlook.

I deleted the entire account and tried again just in case I missed something but I'm still getting this message.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I actually searched all the postings for one that could help. I had already seen that one but it didn't help. Any thing else you can do to help? Are you familiar at all with that error message?

Yes, error 0x800ccc19 means something is not right, delete it and do it
again..also check your internet connection and make sure your ISP is not
blocking you.

Well, obviously it means something is not right, LOL. I already removed and added the account with no change in outcome. I will take your advice and check with my ISP. Hopefully, that'll work.
