Default Web-based email suggestions

I see the thread that requests web-mail suggestions, and Outlook Express and Live Mail are not web based. How can I use Google Apps/gmail or Hotmail without having my emails say "From chris@thelifesettlementnetwork sent via chris********"?

I can use Google Apps as far as I can tell, but I would need to sign up for a $50/yr service per email alias on my site. I have 6 - info@, webmaster@ etc...

Are there any web-based email solutions that works with BV like we would expect it should (does not have "From chris@thelifesettlementnetwork sent via chris********"?)

I would be happy to pay someone to help me get this working.

You can use the web based mail service that comes with your hosting account here at VodaHost. You can access it through your control panel.

Thanks - I should have mentioned I can't access the control panel or webmail from my office at my "day job". It is a forune 500 company - so can't ask them to change their firewall or whatever is keeping me from accessing the 74.86.118.26 site.

I can access Hotmail or Gmail, so was hoping there was a way to use these services, or access Round Cube via a different log in address.

I have to think others have had this problem - so hopeing there is a simple fix.

Yes Gmail will bring any pop3 account in. just go to settings / accounts then go to the Get mail from other accounts: part.

Thanks Alien - I tried that and when I send emails (even when I change the "sent from") the receiver sees :

"From: <img id="P___1520256335" webimdisplaystyle="inline" style="display: none;"> chidgeychris******.com on behalf of Chris Chidgey (chris@thelifesettlementnetwork.com)"

This is the case for Outlook 2007 and Hotmail.

That formatted strangely. It says sent from "my gmail account via my business account"

Hi all - I submitted a support ticket and they said contact Google. I am guessing I am either not explaining my issue well, or that this is a known issue. I am pretty sure everyone would agree sending emails that include your personal email in the "from" is not professional.

If anyone can tell me how to send emails from my gmail account with my domain instead of "from chris @mydomain via chris' gmail account" - I would appreciate it and pay for your time.
