Guestbook not sending reply to sender

My guestbook is sending the autoreply message " Thank you for your email" back to my personal inbox and not to the person who signs the guestbook. Help please... Thanks! client#28276

How do you know your guest isnt getting it too?

The BV does not send the entry to your guest, only YOU.................

Hi Karen, Thanks for the reply!
I posted an entry on the guestbook with my wife's computer, which is sitting right behind me. The autoreply did not send her a reply, it sent it to me.
David, thanks for your reply also but, it seems pointless for the autoreply to send me an email saying "thanks for your email" and not to the person who made the post in the guestbook. Will you expound on this? Thanks!

The GB auto responder is really only to give you a heads up that someone has left a message.
The guest already knows that they have left you one..................

Ok, this is what I'm getting back from one GB entry:
From:
admin@triangledowserschapter.com. - someone signed your guestbook
From:
Triangle Dowsers.....Thank you for your email
(shouldn't the second one be going to the guest who made an entry in GB?) If not, why are they asked for their email address in GB?

OK, thanks all, for your replies. My mistake, I had autoresponder set up in CP. That's why I was getting a second email
