Thread: sometimes email ok, but sometimes problem

my email is not stable.

i use MSOutlook 2003, sometimes i have problem with outgoing mail.

standard setting:
incoming mail server: mail.aaa.com.my
outgoing mail server: mail.aaa.com.my

Under email setting:
tick - My outgoing server smtp requires authentication.
tick - use same settings as my incoming mail server

port:
incoming pop3 is 110
outgoing smtp is 25

what if i want to change my outgoing smtp using SSL, what will be PORT be?

Ask your isp.. thats the only reason you would use that, and you would change the outgoing to their server as well
