Thread: E-Mail Bugs

Hi everyone,


For a time that I wanted to have my E-mail acount
at CPanel VH e-nail working but Its almost impossible
to get it to work...

- I receive the Outlook test messg. but still gives errors on sending Mails.
- How do I add a direct Mail Form into My web page just by clicking a
Example Mail gif image...

- Please explain the simple you can cause most complicated replies will
Drive me into more doubts,,,

Welll... For a time.. Ive been answering this question about 20 times a week and I can probably type the answer even while sleeping.

You have to use your ISP Mail settings for OUTGOING MAIL. Since you connect to the internet thru their server, most now require it. So you need to contact your internet provider for the settings to use in outgoing mail

But this is about my third time I ask something in 3 years that
I am a VH costumer , If you check around you should see that
I am not posting and giving to much trouble...


Of those 20 replys none was for me, and for sure My doubt hasn't been
taken off with this reply of your's, so if I am allowed to sugest , if
you given replys like this amoung your other 20 that you say, its only
natural that we , the ones with questions and doubts , will post again
asking the same thing...

so the only reazon I am giving you the huge workload and making you
reply for the 21 time to this question is cause this problem is very
dificult to solve only by watching your tut. movies...

This is just my opinion...and you can use it if you want or not,
I am far from being helped with your reply , but also apologise if I gave you to much trouble...

LOL.. you didnt give me no trouble..but when things arent answered by the tutorials, you should search the forum..and scan about the room you are asking in to see if this question has been answered.

Im sorry you still dont understand. Your internet connection blocks port 25 to prevent spam abuse. You used to be able to send mail anywhere once you were on the internet, now because of spam, and viruses that infect mail, you can no longer do that in most cases. Who do you sign on to the internet thru? Thats who you need to contact for the information to send mail. They will give you the settings for outlook to work from your desk top.

Please remember that tutorials are just that...for the basics, no tutorial can give you 100% of the answers all the time..

Thank you, I was beginning to feel as though I was the only one who had the same experience here. I could'nt have said it better myself. I beleive if BV would take a little time to set down and develop a few pages to cover what is missing in their tutorials frustration levels will ease.
