Question Forwarding: does it apply to outgoing messages?

OK, this might be a slightly dumb question, but: If I go into CPanel and set e-mail address "A" to forward messages to address "B" (which could be a hotmail, gmail, or other non-VH-hosted address), I know it will copy all messages received at "A" over to "B".

But will it also copy messages I sent FROM the "A" address over to the "B" address? Thanks.

No, a forwarder will only forward emails to another address that it received. Outgoing emails are not affected (Its assumed if you wanted the email that you send out forwarded, you would just make your forwarding address a recipient)
