Thread: Worked Great Last Night

Set up my emails in Outlook 2003 and they were both working great last night. . .today I get error messages on both accounts that the server doesn't recognize my user name or password. Any ideas that might have caused this and how do I solve?

no.. not enough detail.. what server doesnt recognize? and the specific message

First the windows box "Enter network Password" pops up and if I re-enter my password, it is rejected so I clicked 'cancel'. The error message in the send/receive detail is:

Task 'P&C Admin - Receiving' reported error (0x800CC92):'Your email server rejected your login. Verify your user name and password in your account properties under Tools, click E-mail accounts. The server responded: -ERR login failed.'

I have verified that the correct information (user name xxxx@domain.com and password) is in the setup and I still get the error.

The details box says sending was completed and I get the error on receiving

Without seeing your settings.. i would guess you still have something wrong in there.. or.. you created a redirect or a forwarder in your email.
