I think I am doing something very simple wrong but after watching the tutorials and looking at other threads I can't work out where I'm going wrong.
What I need: I need my outgoing emails to have my info@parkescakes.co.uk address on them.
What is Happening: Currently I have set up through my CP to have my incoming mail forwarded to my aol account, when I reply to a customer enquiry from my contact form it replies from my aol account email address.
What I have Done: I have followed the step by step's for thunderbird, everthing seems ok (it does say that my pop incoming and outgoing server will always be mail.domainname.com, however I have a .co.uk email address and this is what is on my login information email for pop incoming/outgoing emial server so I have been using this rather than .com) When thunderbird tries to login to my host it comes back with the message - Sending the password did not succeed. Mail server mail.parkescakes.co.uk responded: Login Failed.
Please advise the easiest way for me to resolve this issue, I have checked that my pc is not blacklisted (seems fine) my ISP provider is Virgin although I still use my old aol email account.
I am self taught so don't always understand the terminology, however, can usually fathom things out, but I'm stumped on this one. Please keep it simple. Thanks in advance.
