Hi,
Could someone give me some insight as to why on my "Contact Us" page, it seems anyone with Outlook can contact me but if they have another email provider it gives an error asking for pop and smtp and passwords?. Any help would be appreciated........thanks, Jerry

Well first of all.. outlook is NOT an email provider. Its an email HANDLER.

Yes you will need to add passwords and users for all email accounts no matter where they reside into outlook to manage them.

Thanks for the reply, but we have over 300 retirees in the club and new ones joining everyday.....when I go to other websites with a contact us, I do not get this message....please explain?.......Jerry

Usually with contact us pages it list the ways that people can contact your organisation via all means of communication E Mail, Phone, Postal.

Or if you haven't got a separate page and when someone clicks on your contact us hot spot it should open up their E Mail client with your contact E Mail address in the top box (To)
As to why other e mail clients are asking for user names and passwords when clicked on is beyond me.

Id have to see an example of what you are talking about.

It sounds as if they dont have a preferred Email HANDLER set up, such as outlook, or their email goes thru their isp.. so when it tries to send it goes thru their ISP and will require their user and passwords
