Thread: HTML email

Hi all im trying to set up a html mail which i can send to customers !

im using horde at the moment, i have set up the account and i can send normal text mails and recive them too !

but now iwant to include a picture with the name and the logo at the top of the page to use it as a header !

so when i change to html mode and then go to browse for a file it asks me for the url of the file !

can anyone please tell me how i have to set this up ??!!

are there any better options to use appart from horde ?!

has anyone got experience with this issue ??!

there are many companies that specialize in setting up email campaigns being either with text of graphics. you can google "email campaigns" and you will find a lot of companies that offer templates so you can do a campaign to multiple people. i use 2 of the 3 in the group. if you are still confused just contact me through my website

sorry but im still confused havent got a clue what u mean ! ;)

but im not looking 4 a company to do anithing 4 me......
i need to get it done myself via my own email because it has to be this specific account that it will be sent from.

im not looking 4 a template either because ive allready got the immage i need !

the problem is that i would like to know how to upload it properly so that it can be seen on the actual email !

i have tryed this but it doesnt show the image as in not found !

so basically can any 1 please tell me if i have to upload the image to my hosting account or some other place or is there a special way to save the image on my mail account ??!!

these companies are just the host of the images. without vodahost you could not show yourwebsite. without a company like these, i do not know how you would send out mass emails. these companies do not do the work for you but give you the medium to show your emails. here is an email i just did:

we sent out 2000 emails to our customers all at one time
here is a newsletter we just did:

we sent out 195
and so on, we send out probably 8000 emails a month.
as you can see they all have graphics etc....
i will send you the above email as a campaign so you can see how it works. it will be coming from AHG Painting.

You can simply use outlook mail and insert images etc. You can do mail lists from your cpanel... look in fantastico for php mail lists.

if you do have a large mailing list it is almost necessary to employ a mail service as magoo suggested as it insures your mail is not sent to spam and the isp's dont black list you.
