Thread: Cant set up Windows mail !

Hi a few days ago i set up my email accout and sent some mails ! this worked fine, all the outgoing mails were recieved !

so next i tryed to send html mails ! and i was told that this could be done using outlook express or a similar programm !

so i went into windows mail for the first time ever !
i tryed to set up the account using the automatic set up !
but none of them worked ! windows mail does not recognise the inforation !

So next i tryed entering the inforation manually !
and it seemed that the account ws set up properly !

first i tryed sending some emails to an other email adress from another mailhost and they were all delivered !!

but when i try to send a message back i always get the mailer daemon message either in my spam or normal inbox on the other mailhost account !

i have triyed all sorts of different settings but none work !

i have read all the documentation and watched the videos over and over !
and i have also gone through the steps over and over and always checked and double checked taht all information is in the right place !

ps mails do not arive either using windows mail nor using the mail accountvia control panel !

but nothing works !
why can i send but not recive ???!!!

OK no 1 got any ideas on this !!??!!

i tryed checking on this by activating a catch all in registrars controlpanel to see what would happen if i send the mail from a private account !!

this works !! the catch all gets the mail and sends it to the private account !!

but when i deactivate the catch all it just bounces back again ! so it has to be a fault i have made or with the settings in my controlpannel !!

If you are in the UK 90&#37; of the isp providers require you to set up to SEND thru them even if its coming officially from your domain. You have to go thru their internet connection soo... your outgoing smtp will be
smtp.yourproivider.co.uk or .com whatever it is and your user name and password for them.

Contact your internet provider for further details. Some of them also require you VERIFY all email accounts you wish to send from with them as well

not in the UK bit in germany ! originally i come from welshpool which is a town in Wales quite near Shrewsbury which is just across the rather nonexisting border ! realy nice there !! ;)

but anyway so i guess its probably the same procedure then ??

........hang on ??! just read your talking about the outgoing mail ! but they r ok outgoing mail is recieved !!!

its the INCOMING mail im not getting !

still the same proc. ??!! any clue ??

The pieces of art are so beautiful.

Do you plan to create, in future, some description for each
piece so that some of us, who don't know much about them,
can enjoy looking at them what they are and where they come from?

Sure i do actually plan to do this !!

the site is only just gone onlie online about a week ago, we allready had customers aking about our items and everybody wants response emidiatly !
So because of that we were too busy sending emails and sorting out price lists since then ! aside we had to unload the containers in which the items were delivered ! lots of hard work ! :)

but yes there definatly will be more information in the future !

but just to let u get some kind of a picture of the art ..... most of it is somewhere around 500 years old ! the bigger items like the pillarsockets or the stone entrance are really big and heavy !
items come from eastern countrys mostly islamic art !

Yes.. its not being recieved in to the gmail server because your outgoing isnt connecting or isnt verified.. so it still OUTGOING as far as your computer is concerned... according to your first posting. Most likely your isp wants verification of the email addresses. Lots are doing this.. dunt ask me why.. but try that and see.. if not

Its your configuration for recieving the INCOMING from gmail thats the issue and youd have to check over those settings...
