    Default Outgoing E-mail Problem

I have an outgoing email problem when using POP3, whenever I try to send an email I get the message

Outlook cannot connect to your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server.
If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).

I have contacted the ISP and they've told me everything is fine ports 110 and 25 are not blocked.

Also I have another email address with a different hosting company which I use POP3 in Outlook with and I can send emails with them fine.

    Default Re: Outgoing E-mail Problem

Rules may very from ISP to ISP but I have noticed that with some they require there settings for outgoing mail.

eg I use Virgin (formerly Blueyonder) so my outgoing server is smtp.blueyonder.co.uk

Saying that I have set up email addresses for my clients where the outgoing domain is simply mail.theirdomainname.com (same as their incoming pop3)

What you could also try is the same smtp as for the email address that does work.
    Happy Building
