Thread: Where do emails go if domain has expired?

For a three day period our domain name expired and as such we could not receive incoming emails. We have now renewed our domain name (again with Vodahost).

Over that period where do the emails that were sent to us get stored? None of our clients received a mail-delivery failure email which suggest they must have went somewhere.

We'd like to be able to retrieve them.
