Thread: Cant get old email address to work since transferring domain

Sorry if this has been asked many times before but am a novice at this website building.

I have transferred a website from Namesco to BlueVoda and its set up ok.

There was an existing email account which was apparently sent with it (as bluevoda have control of this now) but I cant find it.

It doesnt work when I redirect new mail to it on the new website.

What I am looking for is help to either, redirect the new mail to the old email address or find the old address and redirect the mail sent there to the new email address.

As the old address doesnt seem to work I cant do either.

I have done a redirect on Voda from the new address to the old address but the old address doesnt work since being transferred to voda. I cant do a redirect from the old address to the new address because voda doesnt list it as one of my email addresses.

Where has it gone too?

I wish blue voda had a telephone help line!

You will have to set up a new email address at VH with the same name as you had before as your domain is now with VH. So if your email address was me@mysite.com set it up the same in your control panel email area.
