Thread: Email to mobile phone

I just got a new smart phone and was not sure if the email settings (incoming and outgoing mail servers, ports etc...) are the same as what I set up in my outlook or are they different for mobile phones?

You'll only need your email address, password and pop3 server details. Outgoing Server will be that of your mobile phone service

So the outgoing wouldn't be the vodahost outgoing mail server?

Try it, it might work...lol...But these days In most cases the outgoing server should be that of your ISP. So I would say for your phone use the mobile phone networks out going server. I've set up many mobile phones..works every time.

Any idea where i would find the mobile outgoing server info?

If your phone doesn't tell you or auto default, just a quick phone call to your mobile network provider or what I've done before is do a Google search for ''What is the outgoing server for 'what ever your phone network is'"
